Donation & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Amalgamated Businesses Consortium Corporation. Your donation helps ABC Corp carry out its charitable mission and community initiatives.

Donations Are Generally Final

Because donations are charitable gifts that may be committed to ABC Corp's programs and operations upon receipt, completed donations are generally non-refundable.

No goods, merchandise, or services are provided in exchange for donations made through ABC Corp's general online donation portal.

Errors, Duplicate Donations and Unauthorized Transactions

ABC Corp understands that errors can occur.

If you believe that:

  • you entered an incorrect donation amount;

  • the same donation was processed more than once;

  • a transaction was made without your authorization; or

  • another payment-processing error occurred,

please contact ABC Corp as promptly as possible after discovering the issue.

ABC Corp will review the circumstances and, where appropriate, work with its payment processor to correct the transaction or issue a refund.

Refund Requests

Other requests to refund a completed charitable contribution will be considered by ABC Corp on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the circumstances of the request, whether the donated funds have already been committed or expended for charitable purposes, applicable donor restrictions, payment-processing requirements, and applicable law.

Submission of a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be issued.

Any approved refund will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method, where practicable.

ABC Corp reserves the right to issue a refund when necessary to correct an error, respond to suspected fraud or unauthorized activity, comply with applicable law or payment-network requirements, or protect the interests of ABC Corp and its donors.

Recurring Donations

Donors may request cancellation of a recurring donation at any time before the next scheduled transaction by contacting ABC Corp using the contact information provided on our website.

Cancellation applies to future scheduled donations. Cancellation of recurring giving does not automatically reverse or refund contributions that have already been processed.

Charge Disputes

If you do not recognize a donation appearing on your debit or credit card statement, please contact ABC Corp promptly so that we can investigate the transaction.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights a cardholder may have under applicable law or the rules governing the donor's card issuer or payment network.
